Lexus Design Award 2022

メンターとして今年のLEXUS DESIGN AWARD 2022に参加することになりました。世界中のデザイナーとともに、デザインの新しい可能性を探求できることをとても楽しみにしています。

世界的なパンデミックの時代だからこそ人の心を打つデザインがあり、そんなデザインに出会うことで初めて、人々はこのパンデミックを人類が乗り越え、前に進むのだと感じることができるのではないかと考えます。。

今の時代だからこそ我々の心に響くデザインに出会うこと、そしてデザインの力と社会が前に進むことを強く信じるデザイナーとともに考え、ともに作り出していく時間を共有できることを心より楽しみにしています。

 

I will join LEXUS DESIGN AWARD 2022 as a mentor and it will be my pleasure to work with great talent from all over the world to seek for new possibility of design!

I believe especially in this global pandemic age there will be designs that move people and bring hope to society by using totally new methods that were never imagined before. By those new designs, I assume people will be encouraged to go forward and get over this pandemic. 

I very much look forward to seeing impressive designs and to sharing time with designers who strongly believe the power of design and have the will to move society forward.
